This past weekend was one that the Bluegrass State has been looking forward to since April 27th; the start of Keeneland's 2016 Fall Race Meet. There's not a better time to be had anywhere else in our great state this time of year. With the combination of fast horses, quality liquor and southern hospitality, the track is the place to be when the weekend rolls around.
The thing that really draws crowds (besides the allure of blowing our rent checks on bets we know we aren't gonna win) is the opportunity to get done up in our "sundy best" with 30,000 of our closest friends. Fall in the Bluegrass for the guys means breaking out the sport coat, our best khakis pants and our favorite tartan ties. For the girls this means that it's time to put away the sundresses and trade the cowboy boots for riding boots.
With Keeneland's College Scholarship Day quickly approaching this Friday, everyone is going to be looking for that special piece to give their outfit the extra pop it needs to stand out from the crowd. We are proud to say that you don't even have to leave the track to find it. Be sure to stop in to the Keeneland Gift Shop and check out our belts and bracelets there.
